A pair of rather graceful Han dynasty pottery geese.
As usual they have well formed bronze legs.
Geese were a major motif in Han dynasty era poetry and were typically distinguished between two types of geese, the domestic goose, and the wild goose.

Both have been TL tested by the well know Laboratory Kotalla in Germany

The Goose with the black head 200 mm length from beak to tail and approx 225 mm tall 
The yellow head is 235 mm length from beak to tail, and approx 243 mm tall. Comes with TL  certificate.


Only £1595 the pair is a pretty good buy I think!

These are presently in a collection in Germany.
