A rather nicely detailed small dark blue/green faience amulet of Harpokrates.


With his finger stuck in his mouth which is one of the symbolic representations of childhood in ancient Egyptian iconography.

Despite the small size he has a very distinct little face.

Intact 15.5 mm

Late Period, circa 500 BC
