No impersonal 'shopping basket' system here. I prefer to do all this personally by email.
ALSO PLEASE NOTE
There are hardly any items for sale beyond page 29 on the gallery here.
I have left so many sold items on show (and in the sold archive) as many collectors have said they find such photos and information useful to have.

An interesting Third Intermediate Period faience ushabti which rather unusually for this period, has two columns of hieroglyphs. sHD wsir it-nTr n Imn, pA-Sd-mr.f mAa xrw The illuminated, the Osiris, Gods father of Amun, Pa-shed-meref, true of voice 90mm Broken /repaired across middle. Nice colour 21st/22nd dynasty Schneider code 4.3.1. Ex Belgian Brussels collection. I have found out that a group of shabtis from this ancient owner were in a collection in Germany which was formed between the 1930s and 1950. They were all much the same size, 90mm to 94mm, and though from several different molds all with the same type of rather roughly done inscriptions in two columms. All are the same colour and quality of faience. The maker who painted the inscriptions was possibly illiterate. See photo showing very crudely painted hieroglyphs and reversal error. |
