A rather unusual Roman glass bottle with really lovely

and graceful trailing decoration

in a pleasing light blue glass.

More typical spiral trailing on the neck but very unusual trailing on the belly.


A good size at 115mm

Intact

Roman circa 1st-2nd century.

A fairly similar type in the Louvre was found in Syria but in The Corning Museum of Glass
this  type  is described as Italian or Western Empire, mid first century.
