Genuine Phoenician rod formed glass head pendants are fairly rare and almost  always pretty expensive.

There are some really incredibly  awful fakes on offer online.

Though you can actually visit a Manhattan gallery to buy these in person.  It's hard to know how the staff there don't giggle when seling these as ancient!

Only $600 each.

I'm really mystified that anyone would  buy these believing they are ancient!

Another very large set up which has only an online presence offers these absolutely atrocious things. They apear to come from the  factory.

High quality photos so you can appreciate the patina of age on the surface of the glass. Yes, both websites use  the same photographs.
