A seller with an enormous online stock of fake pieces offers such as these.

They are sold with a "lifetime" certificate of authenticity.

They are called "Middle Kingdom", "18th dynasty", "26th dynasty " and "Ptolemaic"  totally irrespective of overall style.

This seller, who claims special archaeological knowledge also offers a certificate of authenticity and gives a lot of bogus information along with his dreadful fakes.

Sells scarabs nicely mounted as rings, earrings and pendants too.

You may recognise the type of fake now.
