Honest reproductions do sometimess get circulated on the market as genuine originals.

They are usually made in plastic types of materials but as most people don't know what the genuine tablets feel like in the hand, they can be deceptive; especially if someone is comparing them to baked/fired  tablets.

Reproductions come in varying degrees of  versimilitude:

The more interesting  ones are made from moulds taken from very important and famous artifacts.

On the other hand, someone else selling what they say are accurate replicas of various ancient things, offers this!

This is undoubtedly the worst "fake" of a cuneiform tablet I've ever seen!
