Worthwhile having a closer look at these two. The surface of the genuine one is surprisingly void of accretions. Look at the drilled hanging holes. See any significant difference?
The 'water adsorption test' is instructive here. The water adsorbtion "test" is only a suggestive sort of test and though often useful to do, must be taken alongside other methods of authentication.
The wetted pottery fabric in these two pieces also had a different smell. One smells rather like fresh clay, the other has a particularly musty smell.
