Here are some attempts to fake (very badly!) mould blown Janus head flasks.
These are genuine ones:

The last two above, though in prestigious museums, are doubtful.
Some slightly "better" fakes.
. And then there are these! From three different sellers, one of whom has a gallery and gives certificates of authenticity (apparently with a straight face). Prices at these three sellers vary from $350 to well over $1000 even though they are from the same "factory". Seller number 1. $350-$400
. This seller has just been nominated for the "best worst" pages".
At another seller you need to pay just over $650 for each of these.

. Yes, this seller uses some of the same photoographs. Maybe he is an offshoot of the first? . And in London, large numbers, at so called antiquities dealers!
