 Someone asked me about this .

'Beautiful' ....Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder: but I think it's actually rather ugly.

'Ancient'...No, very definitely not.

A very cheap tourist souvenir.

Seller says:

This Item has Come From a Private 1970s Collection.

No, it hasn't. It was bought very recently.

Lots more! Very obviously from the same tourist souvenir workshop.

Everything  offered as ancient by this seller is modern.

Mostly badly made tourist souvenirs.

I presume that most people buying from this seller realise that these are not really ancient and are looking for tourist souvenir sorts of things : otherwise it's hard to understand how some four and half thousand such things have been sold by him on eBay.

Someone contacted me to ask if it would legal to purchase this.

It looks like a rather damaged ancient Egyptian papyrus though the  iconography or cats and rats is somwhat unusual.
