Same auction house as the scarabs were offerred at two pages back.
Seems very odd to me that anyone would not wonder howcome several almost identical pieces turn up together. Quite apart from the fact that they are so obviously modern.
Or such as these pieces in such a similar glass and in such similar condition.
Someone there is simply not thinking. This auction house has simply not utilised appropriate expertise. Not on auction but selling from their "shop". Do they actually own any books about Roman glass I wonder. Or scarabs!
Other similar ones which can be purchased from road side tourist souvenir sellers at the major sites in Egypt.
A year or so later...... No surprise.
