This small "vase", almost 5 inches tall, was a gift from my brother, who purchased it in Northern Italy. He was told it is Etruscan and seems to be bronze.
Wonder if it is a bronze alabastron. But one would normally expect to see small handles at the sides. Improbable that the handles were above the break . Here are two Persian bronze alabastra.

Perhaps a Egyptian/ Persian bronze situla with the handles handles on top and not at the sides. Although if it is not the typical small situla shape.
